Blood-sicking mites from families Argasidae Canestrini 1890 in territory of USSR

  The analysis of the literature and results of the own researches on distribution and ecology of mites from families Argasidae and their role as a vector is given. It is registered in territory of USSR 17 species of mites from three genus: Argas, Al- veonasus and Ornithodoros.
