The role of Musca autumnalis in distribution of parafilariosis of cattle

The transmission and distribution of Parafilaria bovicola in south region of Russia is made by intermediate host Musca autumnalis in period from April to September. The highest population of M. autumnalis is in May–July. 3,3 and 3,7 % of M. autumnalis are infected by larva of P. bovicola.
