Vitebsk State Medical University.

Summary

It had been established that migrating A. suum larvae showed embryotoxic effects in pregnant mice on days 4 and 14 post infection. Postimplantation lethality increased by 2,66 and 4,16 times respectively. Also embryotosic effects manifested in decrease of emryo mass and size values at average by 1,07-1,3 times. A. suum larval metabolites were responsible for those toxic effects.
