AGE PECULIARITIES OF INFECTION BY HELMINTHS OF ABORIGINAL CATTLE IN THE MOUNTAIN ZONE OF DAGESTAN

Summary

Aboriginal cattle youngsters are infected by 20 helminth species at the height of 2000 meters above sea-level, by 9 species – at the height of 2000-3300 meters above sea-level. With account of the height above sea-level cattle aged 1-2 years is infected by 29 and 14 helminth species as while adult animals – by 22 and 9 helminth species. One can note the existence of associated infections consisted of Dicrocoelium lanceatum, Echinococcus granulosus, gastrointestinal Strongylata and Filariata infections.
