PECULIARITIES OF INFECTION BY HELMINTHS OF ABORIGINAL CATTLE IN THE MOUNTAIN ZONE OF DAGESTAN

Summary

The aboriginal cattle in the mountain zone of Dagestan is infected by 29 helminth species, the prevalence rate values have the manifested vertical zonality up to and more then 2000 meters above sea-level. Animals are infected by helminths for the period of May – October at the pastures of mountain zone at the height of 1500-2000 meters above sea-level as while at the height of 2000-3300 meters above sea-level – from July to the end of September.
