Prevalence of Oesophagostomum dentatum infection of swine according to zones of the country and prognosis of the infection rates at farms of different type

PREVALENCE OF OESOPHAGOSTOMUM DENTATUM INFECTION OF SWINE ACCORDING TO ZONES OF THE COUNTRY AND PROGNOSIS OF THE INFECTION RATES AT FARMS OF DIFFERENT TYPE

Summary

The mean rate of O. dentatum infection of swine appeared to be 11,9% for the period of 2004-2008 on all country as while fluctuations in federal districts ranged 3,1 to 62,5%. The mean rates of that infection were 27; 56,5 and 8,6% in the Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory and Mordovia respectively.
