Prevalence of Dicrocoelium lanceatum (Stiles et Hassall, 1896) in natural biocenoses at the North of Nechernozemje.

Summary. At the North of Nechernozemje in natural biocenoses only a bear is infected by D. lanceatum on 100% (II is 2-85 specimens in 100 g of liver) and other wild animals have the low infection extensity and intensity values: elk – 3,2% (II – 2,7 specimens); boar – 6,7% (II – 13 specimens). The results of the carried out investigations show that in natural biocenoses where bears have remained they are the obligatory hosts of D. lanceatum as while wild herbivorous animals are the facultative hosts of this trematode.
