Summary

Toxocara cati and Dipylidium caninum infections are widely spread among Moscow population of cats providing a high risk of infection for children and adults. Coproscopic diagnosis of T. cati infection in carnivores doesn’t cause any difficulties during excretion of fertilized eggs by females. But it doesn’t provide the recovery of helminths at migration and at existence of unmature specimens. It’s important to examine the diagnostic reaction parameters for successful control of T. cati infection and prevalence of T. cati in environment.
