Summary

Five species of parasites attributed to the family of Epistylididae Kahl, 1933 (Apiosoma campanulatum Timofeev, f. typica 1962; Apiosoma piscicolum Blanchard, f typica 1885; Apiosoma piscicolum Blanchard, 1885 sp. perci Chernyshewa, 1976; Apiosoma gasterostei Faury-Fremiet, 1905; Apiosoma megamicronucleatum Timofeev, 1962) were recovered on the surface of the body, fins and gills of 14 fish species in the Terek, Malka, Baksan, Chegem, Cherek basins. Apiosoma megamicronucleatum Timofeev was found in all 14 fish types in 1962.
