Summary
Annual performance of preventive treatment of children and childbearing women has a positive result. Each treatment reduces ascariosis rates among children by 22%; intestinal obstruction decreases or it is not recorded. It is necessary to provide annually at least two or three treatment rounds in order to obtain the desired results.
