ECHINOCOCCUS GRANULOSUS AND COENURUS CEREBRALIS INFECTIONS

Summary
E. granulosus and C. cerebralis infections are recorded in all areas of Tajikistan including the Pamir Mountain. Slaughter animals are infected by E. granulosus on the level of 14,3% to 94,4%. At some farms the E. granulosus prevalence among lambs aged 12-15 months appears to be 14,3%.
