ROLE OF HYDROBIONTS IN TRANSMISSION OF INFECTION CAUSATIVE AGENTS OF FISH AT FISH FARMS

Summary

Many hydrobionts (mollusks, leeches, oligochaetes, crustaceans) are the intermediate hosts of helminthose causative agents (trematodes, cestodes, nematodes etc.). In life cycle of the latters the most susceptible chain is the intermediate host. Exposure on these hydrobionts will significantly reduce the number of parasites and provide the epizootic welfare of fish ponds. Therefore reducing of hydrobiont population using biological and chemical methods is one of the main chains in the complex of antiepizootic measures.
