EPIZOOTOLOGIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PROTOZOA AND HELMINTH SPECIES IN CASPIAN GULL IN DAGESTAN

Summary

The specific composition of Protozoa and bio - and geohelminths in Caspian gull in Dagestan is represented by 8 species of Protozoa, 7 species of Trematoda and 5 species of Cestoda. The dominant parasites of Caspian gull attributed to Trematoda are Hypoderaeum conoideum, Echinostoma revolutum, Notocotylus attenuatus and Catatropis verrucosa. Among Cestoda species in the Caspian gull 5 species dominate (Skrjabina caucasica, Raillietina volzi, Tschertkovilepis setigera, Choanotaenia infundibulum, Raillietina tetragona).
