Summary

In autumn dirofilariasis infestation extent in the kennel of working dogs was 11,2%. The average intensity of infection ranged 50,8±22,7 copies / ml of blood. Zoonoses were recorded in dogs aged from 1 to 7 years. We found no morphological changes in the blood of infected animals which are specific for a parasitic disease. The changes in biochemical parameters registered in spontaneously infected dogs may indirectly indicate the onset of pathological process in certain organs (liver, kidneys).
