Clinical testing of the combined antibiotic azicycline at the phone of Coccidiidae infection.

Summary. Azicycline is highly effective against hemorrhagic enterocolitis of minks at the phone of Coccidiidae infection. The agent can be recommended at dose level of 7,0 mg per kg of body weight once a day for 5-7 days. It is important to note that application of azicycline doesn’t substitute the specific treatment by coccidiostatic agents. The antibiotic eliminates the symptoms of infection and prevents growth of pathogenic microbiota in intestines affected by coccidia.
