SEASONAL AND AGE DYNAMICS OF TOXOCARA CANIS INFECTION AMONG DOGS IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE KAZAN CITY

Summary

The puppies aged up to 6 months are infected by T. canis on 78,6%; puppies aged 6 months to 1 year on 14,3%; puppies aged 1 year to 3 years on 4,7% and T. canis infection is recorded in adult dogs aged 3 years and elder in 2,4% cases. In the Kazan city prevalence of T. canis infection is higher in summer (EI – 43,1%) and autumn (EI – 39,7%) compared with winter (EI – 12,1%) and spring (EI – 26,7%).
