international scientific-practical conference of the

"Theory and practice of struggle against parasitic diseases"

17 - 18 may 2016 on the basis of Scientific Research Institute Parasitology named after K.I. Skryabin hosted the annual scientific conference "Theory and practice of struggle against parasitic diseases".

On conference 165 scientific messages from researchers of a veterinary, medical and biological profile from scientific, medical institutions and higher education institutions of the Russian Federation, the CIS countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan), Georgia and Ukraine have arrived.

During work of conference plenary reports and short messages have been heard and discussed at meetings.

The materials of reports which have arrived on conference are published in the 17th release of the collection "Theory and practice of fight against parasitic diseases" which has entered scientometric databases and on the website of institute.

The works concerning studying of a parazitofauna, features of biology of activators, pathogenesis and clinic, the patomorfologicheskikh of changes at parasitic diseases are presented in the collection "Theory and Practice of Fight against Parasitic Diseases" published on conference materials. The important place is taken by monitoring of an epizootic and epidemic situation by parasitic diseases of the person, agricultural and pets, birds, fishes and plants, both in the territory of the Russian Federation, and in the CIS countries, and also wild animals in especially protected territories (national parks, reserves).

A significant amount of works is devoted to development of modern diagnostic test systems on the basis of modern achievements of science, treatment-and-prophylactic actions, to creation and comprehensive study of new chemotherapeutic preparations as well on the basis of nanotechnologies for therapy of parasitic diseases of animals, birds and plants, to use of biologically active agents in combination with antiparasitic preparations for increase of their efficiency and prolongation of action.

The researches and developments touching on issues of the general veterinary and medical parasitology in which various aspects of parasitic diseases of the animals constituting danger to the person, and also safety of production of animal husbandry and plant growing are studied have special value.

Conference recommends:

- to carry out close scientific cooperation in researches on the Interdepartmental coordination program of basic and priority applied researches on scientific ensuring development of agrarian and industrial complex and on Interstate NTP on veterinary parasitology (CIS country); 

- as priority in parasitological researches to consider development of effective methods of diagnostics, prevention and therapy of parasitic diseases, introduction of modern technologies of monitoring of an epizootic, epidemic, epifitotichesky situation;

- to strengthen cooperation and close interaction of biologists, physicians, veterinarians parasitologists and phytoparasitologists in prevention of parazitoz, to expand and strengthen interindustry and interregional researches on all-biological, veterinary, medical, and phytosanitary problems of fight against parasitic diseases,

- to introduce the scientifically based and effective systems of measures of fight and prevention promoting improvement of an antiparasitic situation and protection of external environment from pollution by activators of parazitoz in settlements and large megalopolises more widely, considering regional features of an epizootologiya and epidemiology of parasitic diseases;

- to conduct development of new dosage forms of the anti-parasitic preparations possessing the wide and prolonged action range and also to apply the technologies increasing bioavailability and a possibility of the directed transportation of medicines, to consider development of resistance of parasites to the applied medicines;

- to use perspective methods of molecular biology, genetic engineering, cellular technology for creation of modern means for specific prevention and diagnostics of parazitoz more widely;

- to pay special attention to a possibility of impact of changes of technology of maintaining animal husbandry, and new forms of managing to a parazitofauna of animals and plants;

- it is wider to involve in complex researches on problems of fight against parasitic diseases of young scientists from different regions and to create conditions for exchange of experience and fixing of traditions of domestic parasitological science; 

- to improve preparation in HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of specialists parasitologists of a medical, veterinary and phytosanitary profile, and also to improve skills of experts for the purpose of strengthening of promotion of knowledge of various directions of parasitology.
