LARVAE OF NEMATODES IN HISTOCOPROSCOPIC ASSAYS

Chernysheva E.S.
Central Urban Hospital of Ivanteevka (the Moscow Region).

Summary

Detection of larvae in fecal samples is an important diagnostic assay despite of the limitations of histological method in terms of verification of nematode species. The method allows to diagnose helminth infections and to start treatment promptly. It should be noted that preparations can be compared before and after treatment; they are well kept, they can be photographed and this method is much safer than work with native material.
