COMPARATIVE MICROMORPHOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF OPISTHORCHIS FELINEUS ORGANS AND TISSUES FOLLOWING THE ACTION OF MEBENDAZOLE AND PRAZIQUANTEL IN THE EXPERIMENT

Summary

The combined effect of mebendazole and praziquantel at equal dose levels of 50 mg/kg caused the profound pathological changes in O.felineus organs and tissues. Toxigenic effects of the above agents on helminth eggs were manifested in complete blockage of their development, absence of formation of the egg shell as well as disorders of embryo splitting and larvae maturation processes.
