TO THE QUESTION OF PREVALENCE OF INTESTINAL PARASITES IN DOGS IN THE SOUTH REGION OF KIRGHIZSTAN

Summary. 

477 dogs were examined on infection by helminths. The infection rates were: Taenia spp. – 5%; Toxocara canis – 25%; Toxocaris leonina – 1%; Trichuris vulpis – 0%; Capillaria sp. – 48%; Dipylidium caninum – 1%; Ascaris lumbricoides – 33%. One could not find the eggs of Echinococcus granulosus and E. multilocularis.
