PREVALENCE OF GASTROINTESTINAL PARASITOSES OF SWINE AT THE FARMS OF THE SUMSK REGION

Summary

Ascaris suum, Oesophagostomum dentatum and Trichocephalus suis infections appeared to be the most widely spread helminthoses of swine in the Sumsk Region. The highest values of extensity and intensity of A. suum and O. dentatum infections were recorded at the private farms as while the same indices at the farms of industrial type were the lowest. In some cases one recorded the associative infections of helminthoses and protozoa.
