ANTHROPOGENIC INFLUENCE ON PREVALENCE AND FUNCTIONING OF ECHINOCOCCUS FOCI AT THE NORTH CAUCASUS

Summary.

According to the obtained data cattle was infected by Echinococcus in premountain zone on 11,99±1,03% as while in mountain zone on 2,89% for the period of 2003-2004. The casted cows were the most infected ones. Mainly Echinococcus cysts were found in liver and lungs. One indicated the Echinococcus definitive and intermediate hosts in that region.
