To the taxonomic composition of blood-sucking mosquitoes (Diptera:Culicidae) in the conditions of the Kursk Region

Summary. 19 blood-sucking mosquitoes species attributed to 6 genera (Anopheles – 4 species; Aedes – 2 species; Ochlerotatus – 10 species; Dahliana, Culex, Coquillettidia – 1 species each) are recorded at the territory of the Kursk Region. It should be noted that 12 of 19 species have been recorded for the first time in this region. The most number of species are attributed to Ochlerotatus (10) what is characteristic for Culicidae fauna in Russia in general.
