About occurrence of neuropeptides in nematodes.

Summary. The FMRFlike peptides (FLPs or RaRPs) have been revealed in free living and parasitic nematodes.The data on effects of FMRFlike peptides isolated from free living and parasitic nematodes on the locomotor activity of Ascaris suum are rewieved. The possibilities of the development of a new anthelmintic agents effected on the peptidergic nerve system of nematodes are discussed.
