Summary

The results of anatomo-morphological examination of 3575 Trichuris females obtained from Macaca fuscata, domestic and wild carnivores and ruminants have showed that caudal papillas exist only in Trichuris females originated from M. fuscata in 100% of cases and absent in other females namely Trichuris vulpis, Trichuris suis, Trichuris ovis and Trichuris skrjabini. Consequently peripheric nerve papillas (caudal papillas) in Trichuris females have the significant value in specific taxonomy of this parasites.
