SPECIFIC TRICHURIS SPP. COMPOSITION AND TRICHURIS INFECTION RATES AMONG CATTLE AND WILD RUMINANTS (ELKS, BISONS) IN THE MOSCOW REGION

Summary

Only one species T. ovis was revealed in cattle and bisons in the Moscow Region. The infection intensity values in cattle and bisons appeared to be 1-42 and 2-75 specimens respectively. In deers (elks) one found two species T. ovis (the infection intensity value of 4-37 specimens per one animal) and T. globulosa (the infection intensity value of 12 specimens per one animal) which occurred as mixed infection.
