EPIZOOTIC ANALYSIS OF PARASITIC COMPLEX IN TURKEYS AT YARD FARMS OF THE PLAIN ZONE OF THE KABARDINO-BALKARIAN REPUBLIC

Summary

In the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic the parasite complex in turkeys consists of 9 Protozoa species and 20 biohelminths and geohelminths. In parasitic fauna of turkeys 3 Protozoa species predominate: Eimeria gallopavonis, Histomonas meleagridis, Cryptosporidium meleagris as well 13 helminth species:  Echinostoma revolutum, Hypoderaeum conoideum, Notocotylus attenuatus, Prosthogonimus ovatus, Prosthogonimus cuneatus, Raillietina tetragona, Raillietina echinobothrida, Skrjabina caucasica, Capillaria caudinflata, Capillaria obsignata, Thominx meleagridis, Ascaridia galli and Dispharynx nasuta.
