Summary

The relative erythrocytosis, leukocytosis, eosinophilia, neutrophilia with regenerative deviation to the left and lymphopenia, decrease of rosette-forming T-cell and B-cell were noted in calves infected by Cryptosporidium. Application of Yansevit at dose level of 100 mg per kg over 5 days once a day normalized the hematological indices: number of erythrocytes, leukocytes and stab neutrophils decreased compared with infected animals by 23,5% (p≤0,01), 19,9% (p≤0,05) and 25,8% (p≤0,05) respectively. One revealed increase of rosette-forming T-lymphocytes by 1,59-fold and B-lymphocytes by 1,44-fold (p≤0,05).
