Investigations on the parasites of the European bison, cervids and beavers, their distribution, morphology, systematic, biology, differential diagnosis and also on the epidemiology, patology, and treatment of parasitoses provoked by them. The current topics of research are gastrointestinal nematodes from the family Trichostrongylidae, lung nematodes from the family Protostrongylidae and tissue nematodes from subfamily Onchocercinae. Furthermore the dispersion of ashworthiosis of  domestic and wild ruminants, the epidemiology of elaphostrongylosis of Cervidae and the threat creates for domestical animals and people are investigated. Our research also concerns monitoring the status of helminth infections in the European bison in the Białowieza Forest and in cervids under farm breeding conditions.
