Infection of sheep by Oestrus ovis (Linne, 1761) in Chechen Republic

Distribution of Oestrus ovis in sheep in Chechen Republic is studied. The highest infection of sheep by Oe. ovis is marked in inundated and steppe zones, where 35 % of sheep are infected by Oe. ovis. at intensity of infection to 37 spp.
