ECOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PARASITE DEVELOPMENT AND PREVALENCE IN GOATS OF ORENBURG BREED

Summary

One recorded the prevalence of infections among goats of different age groups at all examined farms. The high infection rates were found in youngsters of 6-9- month age. The maximum infection rates were noted in animals of 1,5-2-year age and they played the big role in infection of youngsters. The extensity of infection in goats elder 2 years was small and varied 2,4 to 13,0%. This age group of animals played the role of parasite carriers for youngsters.
