EFFICACY OF TWO COMBINED GELS AT CHORIOPTES BOVIS INFECTION OF CATTLE

Saint-Petersburg State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, “Agrovetzashchita”.

Summary

One evaluated efficacies of two gels (one at the base of dimitraz and emidonol, the second at the base of amitraz and emidonol) against C. bovis infection of cattle. The clearance of skin following application of gel containing dimitraz and emidonol occurred more rapidly. That could be explained by combined effects of antioxidant emidonol and immunotropic agent dimitraz exerting acaricide action.
