The institute has scientific library with a reading room and big fund of domestic and foreign literature for parasitology and veterinary science.
The library serves the staff of institute, members of Societies of gelmintolog of K.I. Scriabin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, physicians, biologists, veterinarians from other institutes of the country, the students and graduate students passing training in institute. Besides, the library carries out the correspondence service of subscribers.
Completing of fund happens taking into account the tasks facing research associates of institute. Replenishment of fund of literature is made at the expense of annual subscriptions of periodicals and by a book-exchange.
All fund consists of books domestic and foreign, the periodical presses domestic and foreign, abstracts, theses, reports, the translations, the deposited manuscripts, microfilms and makes 19745 units of storage.
Access for readers to the most part open. The library carries out service
of employees in the mode of individual distribution of information.
The library works daily except Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 till 16:00.
