Year of establishment of society – 1940. The academician Konstantin Ivanovich Skryabin (1878-1972) was a founder of the All-Union Society Gelmintologov (AUSG) and its first president.
Renaming – since 1991 All-Union Society Gelmintologov began to be called the All-Russian Society Gelmintologov.
Holding of conferences – conferences of the All-Russian (All-Union) society of gelmintolog (VOG) began to be held since 1949. Materials of reports of the held conferences were published.
OG publication – since 2000 conferences are annually held and the collection of materials of the international scientific conference "Theory and practice of parasitic disease control" of 30-39 items of l is issued.
Regional offices of OG unite experts of a biological, veterinary and medical profile from research institutes and HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of Voronezh, Vladivostok, Ivanov, Kursk, Kemerovo, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan, St.-Petersburg, Saratov.
