Database Russian Science Citation Index on Web of Science
Russian Science Citation Index includes only magazines which have passed strict quantitative and quality standard. On the basis of this list it is possible to draw more valid conclusions about quality of publications or efficiency of scientific activity. Besides, placement of RSCI on the Web of Science platform will allow the Russian magazines to become more noticeable in global information space.
"We expect from this project improvement of quality of the Russian magazines due to reduction them to the international standards, increase of a quoting of the Russian magazines in the world, improvement of system of an assessment of efficiency of scientific activity on the basis of the accounting of articles in a collection of the best Russian magazines", - the CEO of Scientific electronic library Gennady Eremenko has declared.
The Russian Parasitological Magazine was included into the database Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
The magazine is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database on the Web of Science platform consisting of 652 best scientific magazines of Russia:

For multilevel examination of scientific magazines in various thematic directions the Working group which members have headed the relevant thematic advisory councils has been created.
"We have decided that it is necessary to be guided, first of all, by opinion of experts in the respective areas. Scientists who write these articles and for whom these articles are written have to estimate quality of articles", - the chairman of the working group, the vice-president of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Grigoriev has noted.
